Hello!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family and lots of laughs. I ended up going to the new Star Wars movie on Christmas Day. So mine was pretty good! Even though I wasn't able to go home for it, my family saw Star Wars on the same day, so it was almost like being there.
Now on to the new year! New Years Eve is this Thursday, and even if we are not ready for 2016 it will be here. I've been spending this week writing out goals/resolutions, and writing new songs. I'm looking forward to this new year, and all the surprises I am sure it will bring. No one knows what will happen, and that is part of both the excitement and scary part. Sometimes the things that scare us the most are the most worthwhile.
We have had a lot of storms here in Nashville, and all over the south. Another one is due to hit today. Everyone that has been in the paths of tornados and floods are in my thoughts and prayers. It has been quite the destructive storm system, but we will all get through it.
I will be playing a gig in Murfreesboro this New Years Eve with a funk band, Jonesworld. Anyone in town that doesn't want to fight the crowds in downtown Nashville should come on down :) I'd be happy to see you all!
