"Three hundred and sixty four more days..." Parachute
Good Morning everyone!
Today is a great day. Why? Because it is Monday! While the popular opinion is to dislike and distrust Mondays, I hold to the school of thought that every Monday is just another morning, another day to wake up and make the start of the week the best it can be. Last week, I woke up on Monday with a terrible sore throat, and while I spent most of last week trying to kick a minor cold, I wake up this morning knowing that I succeed in that. And I didn't lose my voice at the gig on Saturday! So that in itself is a win :)
This is the time of year where we are spending time with family and friends, attending holiday parties and exchanging and receiving gifts. While I try to do all these things all year, it is nice to see the good cheer spreading throughout my city. And for the first time in 4 years, Nashville feels like MY city. I will always miss Wyoming, and I will always consider it home, but Nashville has become the place I chose to live, and the place I am going to make remember my name!
Yesterday we had our Stoopid Kool Christmas party. As you can see from the glass, we in the band are now all certified with our own swag! We even joked we would take these glasses to every gig and make the bar serve our drinks in them. A shout out to all of my band mates who have made this year another great one of performing, and all of you who came out to the shows. Not only the Stoopid Kool shows, but my solo shows. I definitely wouldn't be here without you.
This week coming up is the last week before Christmas. Can you believe it? I'm working on booking another solo show this week, so stay tuned on Facebook for the day and time of that. I've also added another photo from the photo shoot last Monday. What do you think?
