"I don't want this moment to ever end. Because everything's nothing without you." -Sum 41
What a whirlwind weekend! And week last week. Do you ever have one of those moments at the beginning of a week where you think "this is great, a pretty chill week" and then an hour later you are booked up? That was my week last week. I am incredibly grateful that Columbus Day was yesterday, as it gave me a chance to get caught up on some of the important things in life: food and sleep!
Sunday afternoon/evening I was honored to play for a wedding in Lebanon, TN. It was outdoors and the weather was beautiful. Congratulations to Rachel and Nick, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness! (Ironically enough, the last wedding I attended, the couple was also named Rachel and Nick!)
I will be playing a songwriters night this Thursday down in Franklin, TN. Come on down if you are in the area! I've got a few new tunes to unveil, and a few old ones that I know you will recognize. It will be a great time for all involved!
Stoopid Kool has a weekend off for once, so I am going to spend it in the studio with a few new friends. Recording for others is just as great as recording for yourself. It opens up the mind to the possibilities that are out there, and really inspires me to approach my own music in a way I may not have thought of otherwise. I will be posting links to their work when it is complete, so stay tuned!
Let me know what you all have going on this week! Either via Facebook or here, I love to hear from you!
Jess :)
